The Friends of the Elkhart Public Library was founded in August 2010 to support new and existing services, programs, and technologies in order to help maintain a quality Elkhart library system. You can keep up to date with the latest Friends activities by visiting our Facebook page – just search for Friends of EPL. Applications to join the Friends are available at the Elkhart Public Library branches and at the book sales. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Main Library downtown; all members are encouraged to attend.
Mark your calendar for the next Friends of the Library book sale to be held Thursday, June 23, and Saturday, June 25, and again Thursday, August 25, and Saturday, August 27. The book sale is at the Bookmobile garage at 27671 Westwood Drive (the street behind Parkmor Plaza). Watch for the posters with the exact times, and look for the signs on Bristol Street at Highland and Edwardsburg Street for directions. New-to-the-sale books are added each time; you never know what treasures you will find!
